BBammond Company
Export Desk · built with Claude

A one-person export store that runs like a team.

Bammond Company sells Korean products on eBay to buyers in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and Japan. Export Desk is the operations tool we built with Claude to source, list, price and protect every listing. We run our own stores on it every day, and we are opening it to other Korean sellers next.

What we learned selling

Three numbers that shaped the product.

We did not start by building software. We started by shipping orders from Korea and keeping a ledger. These are the numbers that made us automate.

01
1 in 5 orders lost money once every cost was counted.

From December 2025 to August 2026, item cost took 44.7% of revenue, eBay fees and ads 22.3%, international shipping 16.4% and import duties 5.0%. With margins this thin, every listing needs its own math, not a category average.

02
78% of our orders carried a promoted-listing fee.

The ad rate decides whether a sale makes money. We needed the break-even ad rate for each listing before setting a campaign, so Export Desk calculates it.

03
A sample said 1 Korean competitor. A live search found 51.

Our first sourcing screen counted sellers inside a small sample and called a crowded product "no competition". Now every competition number comes from a live eBay search, with the query shown.

How it works

From a Korean product page to a protected live listing.

Five steps, all on official eBay APIs. Claude does the writing; the ledger does the math; the guard makes sure nothing we edit by hand gets lost.

  1. 01

    Source

Count Korea-based competitors and demand from a live eBay search.

  2. 02

    Draft

Claude writes the English title, item specifics and description, and suggests the HS code.

  3. 03

    Price

Profit per sale after fees, ads, shipping, duty and FX, plus the break-even ad rate.

    Ledger
  4. 04

    Publish & guard

A three-way compare per field sends only what changed and never overwrites Seller Hub edits.

  5. 05

    Research

Every week, per account, collect top sellers and new listings in each lane.
